Islamabad: Renowned preacher and scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has arrived in Pakistan and will stay in the country till October 28.
Upon arrival at Islamabad airport, he was greeted at the airport by Prime Minister Rana Mashhood, Chairman of Youth Programs, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dr. Attaur Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary of Religious Affairs Shamshir Ali Mazari and others.
According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Zakir Naik addressed public meetings in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore and led Friday prayers.
During his stay in Pakistan, he will also meet senior government officials and participate in public events.
Rana Mashhood said that he appreciated the academic achievements of Dr. Zakir Naik and Dr. Zakir Naik’s Islamic knowledge that promoted trust and confidence.
Dr. Zakir Naik was brought to Islamabad under strict security protection.
