ISLAMABAD: In the matter of reserved seats, the Election Commission has filed a new petition in the Supreme Court and has asked to follow the Election Act or go by the order of the Supreme Court.
According to the sources, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa sought clarification on the note of the Deputy Registrar dated September 14 and Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked the registrar to answer these nine questions:
First question: When were the various applications of Election Commission and PTI filed?
Second question: Why were the applications presented before the Judges Committee?
Third question: When the petitions were scheduled for hearing and why was the cause list not issued in this regard?
Fourth question: Was notice issued to the parties and the Attorney General?
Fifth question: In which courtroom or chamber which judges held the hearing?
Sixth question: Why was the cause list not issued to pronounce the order?
Seventh question: Why was the time not fixed for issuing the order?
Eighth Question: How was the original file and original order uploaded on the website without submission?
Ninth Question: Who gave the order to upload the explanatory decree on the Supreme Court website?

According to the sources, the details of the response of the Registrar Supreme Court have come out according to which no cause list has been issued on the petitions of the Election Commission and Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
According to the sources, the report further states that there is no information about the hearing of these petitions in any of the judges’ chambers, the file was not sent to the Registrar’s Office before being uploaded on the website.
