Mumbai: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has distanced itself from its MP and actress Kangana Ranaut’s statement on Kisan Laws.
BJP National Spokesperson Javeer Shergal termed Kangana’s statement as baseless and illogical and said that her statements are undermining the good work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Punjab.
Jayveer Shergal said, “Kangana Ranaut’s baseless and baseless statements, especially against the farmers of Punjab and the Sikh community, are undermining the welfare work done by Prime Minister Modi for Punjab, Punjabis and Punjabiness.”
Kangana Ranaut recently made a controversial statement that the three repealed agricultural laws should be reinstated and farmers themselves should demand their restoration. Later, BJP showed indifference by calling her statement personal, after which Kangana also issued a public apology and said that in future she will keep her opinion in line with the party’s policy.
